After Effects Trailer Creation — Motion Design & Creative Production

Across multiple series trailers, I’ve developed a repeatable, end‑to‑end workflow for creating After Effects–based promotional videos using stock artwork, custom typography animation, and original graphic design. For each trailer, I designed the series logo, selected and shaped the music bed, and defined the visual theme and emotional tone before building the full animation.
Working with curated stock assets, I crafted cohesive visual stories by compositing illustrations, animating characters or environmental elements, and orchestrating dynamic text treatments. I handled all motion design inside After Effects — transitions, pacing, camera moves, layering, lighting effects, and type animation — to create polished, broadcast‑ready trailers.
One production highlight involved collaborating with an in‑house musician to craft a custom soundalike music bed inspired by Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down,” giving the trailer a distinct, gritty rhythm that matched the exact tone I was aiming for.
Each project was fully produced by me: artwork selection and enhancement, logo and title design, music selection, pacing and rhythm, animation build, and final export. These trailers served as complete thematic introductions for their respective teaching series and demonstrated my ability to concept, design, and produce compelling motion graphics independently from start to finish.
