Devoted — Sermon Series Bumper
(Creative Direction, Scriptwriting, Branding, Collaborative Production)

For the Devoted sermon series, I led the creative direction and concept development, drawing inspiration from Acts 2:42 to explore the idea of deep focus, dedication, and spiritual intentionality. I drafted the initial creative brief and script, including a metaphor illustrating devotion through the focused work of a craftsperson. From there, I collaborated closely with a contracted videographer, who helped refine and evolve the visual concept. Together, we shifted from the initial woodworker metaphor to a metalworking theme, ultimately crafting a narrative centered around an artisan forging a metal version of the series logo that I designed.

I developed the series’ visual identity—including logo and typography—and guided the overall tone, pacing, and storytelling approach. I worked with another staff member to coordinate talent sourcing through his network to support the on‑screen component. Throughout production, I worked with the videographer to shape shot selection, detail‑focused visuals, and the emotional flow of the piece. The final bumper served as a thematic anchor for the four‑week series (Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread, Prayer), connecting each message through a unified, contemplative visual and narrative framework.
