Sent Trailer

Creative Direction

Role: Creative Direction, Illustration, Editorial

I developed the visual identity and core artwork for Sent, a Christmas teaching series trailer built around a handcrafted, layered‑paper aesthetic. I began by drawing the primary scene elements—Bethlehem, the hills, and the manger—by hand, then scanned and traced them in Adobe Illustrator and added textured lighting effects in Photoshop to achieve the cut‑out, dimensional look that defined the series.

A contracted scriptwriter provided the narrative foundation, and I shaped the visual direction around that structure. I collaborated with our animator, who transformed my artwork into a stop‑motion‑style animation, adding movement and timing that brought the paper world to life.

I selected and coordinated two narrators, connecting them with the scriptwriter for recording and delivering the final voice tracks to the animator.

The resulting trailer provided a warm, tactile, storybook‑style introduction to the Sent Christmas series, blending handcrafted visuals with gentle motion and dual‑voice narration.
